The West Bridgewater Language Department was fortunate enough last week to attend a wonderful program put on by the culinary department of Boston University where well known chefs like Julia Child taught at. Her famous stool she used was even there. The French department traveled all around France tasting different dishes on Monday, May 29th where we tasted foods from four distinct regions. Along with delicious food, we also learned cooking tips and students received recipes for the foods. On Tuesday, May 30th, the Spanish department did the same where they made true Spanish cuisine. They got to try the best of Spain, enjoying an authentic dish based on the language they have been studying. This was a fun, cultural experience that both departments enjoyed. We may even see some future chefs attend this school from WBMSHS!
